THE PART THAT MATTERS
REAL,
OR IT DOES
NOT SELL
Anyone can photograph a bag well. The only question that matters in resale is whether the person selling it could tell a fake, and whether they would say so. We answer it with an independent machine on every bag, and three years of handling the same models.

AT THIS MAGNIFICATION
Stitch count, plating and grain are evidence rather than decoration. This is the scale the checks are actually done at.
01
01
An Entrupy check on every bag
An independent AI authentication platform that reads the microscopic structure of the material rather than the logo. Every piece in the shop is scanned, and Hannah holds the account directly with Entrupy. It has no commercial interest in the answer and no idea who is asking.
02
Where it came from
Pre-loved pieces are bought here in Singapore, and most arrive without a receipt, as most resale bags do. Brand-new pieces are bought in the US. A receipt is never treated as proof; the scan and the checks are.
03
Five physical checks
Hardware, stitch, date code against leather, lining and glazing, and smell. Done in that order, every time, with no partial pass.
HOW WE KNOW
NOT OUR WORD
FOR IT
A certificate written by the shop selling you the bag is worth exactly as much as the shop’s word, which is what you were relying on anyway. So we do not rely on ours alone.
WHERE IT CAME FROM
BOUGHT
HERE, OR
BOUGHT
NEW
Pre-loved pieces are bought in Singapore, one at a time, from the people who owned them. Brand-new pieces are bought in the US.
Most pre-loved bags reach any reseller without a receipt. Receipts and boxes go missing long before a bag is sold on, so a receipt is never treated as proof here. Every piece, with paperwork or without, is scanned on Entrupy and goes through the five checks before it is listed.

Receipt, card, dust bag, box. Where a piece came in with its full set, the full set goes out with it.
02
Hannah Luxe Ateliar holds an Entrupy account directly. Entrupy remains an independent company and we have no other relationship with them: the verdict on a piece is issued by them and not by us, which is the entire reason it is worth anything to you. Figures above are Entrupy’s own published claims, read from entrupy.com on 21 September 2026. Every piece in the shop is scanned.
ENTRUPY
A counterfeit made today comes out of the same factories, in the same leather, with the same hardware as the real thing. The tells that worked five years ago do not survive that. Entrupy does not look at the logo. It photographs the material itself at microscopic scale and compares that structure against a database of genuine examples of the same model.
The result comes back in minutes, and it is a verdict rather than an opinion: a piece either matches the genuine reference or it does not. Where it does not, the bag does not go on our shelf, whoever brought it in and whatever it would have sold for.

WE CANNOT
ARGUE WITH
Entrupy is an AI authentication platform used by resale businesses worldwide, including StockX. Hannah is a direct account holder. It is the part of this page we have the least control over, which is precisely the point.

FIVE CHECKS
EVERY PIECE,
EVERY TIME
Nothing is listed until all five pass. There is no partial pass and no benefit of the doubt, because the cost of being wrong once is the whole business.
Hannah has been buying and selling these bags for three years. That is long enough to have handled hundreds of the same models, which is the only thing that genuinely trains the eye. Where a piece is unusual, rare, or simply does not feel right, it goes to a paid third-party authenticator before it is sold, at our cost.

THE CHECKS
IN ORDER
WHAT GETS
LOOKED AT
01
HARDWARE
Weight in the hand first, then the stamping. Genuine hardware is heavier than it looks and the lettering is struck, not printed. Plating that has worn through to a yellow base rather than a white one is the common tell.
02
STITCH COUNT AND ANGLE
Every house has a count per inch and an angle it holds at the corners. Counterfeits are made on faster machines and the count drifts. Corners are where it shows first.
03
DATE CODE AGAINST LEATHER
A code is easy to fake. A code that matches the leather, the hardware finish and the lining of the year it claims is much harder. The code alone proves nothing and is not treated as proof.
04
LINING, GLAZING, EDGE PAINT
The three things a factory copying a bag has least reason to get right, because a buyer looking at a photograph never sees them. Which is exactly why they are checked.
05
SMELL
It sounds unserious. It catches more than any of the others. Tanned leather, adhesive and synthetic coating all smell specific, and a copy usually smells of solvent for months.
06
THEN, THE GRADE
Only once a piece has passed is it graded. Condition is assessed after authenticity, never alongside it, so that a beautiful fake never gets a flattering grade on its way through.
BAGS AUTHENTICITY CHECKING SERVICE
BRING IN A BAG
YOU BOUGHT
SOMEWHERE
ELSE
The same checks and the same Entrupy scan we run on our own stock are available over the counter, on any bag, bought anywhere, from anyone. You do not have to be buying or selling to us.
People use it before paying a private seller, after an online purchase that feels wrong, or on a piece inherited with no paperwork. You get a straight answer, and if the answer is bad you get it plainly, with the reason and the part of the bag that gave it away.
It is also the strongest thing we can say about our own shelves. A shop that authenticates strangers’ bags for a living has to be right about its own. Walk in any time the shop is open. A check usually takes 10 to 30 minutes, while you wait. Ask on WhatsApp for the fee.

04
A+
As new
Unworn or worn once or twice. No visible wear anywhere, including the feet and the underside of the hardware. Full set present.
A
Excellent
Light use, visible only on close inspection and photographed where it exists. No structural fault, no odour, no repairs.
B+
Good, honest use
Corner rub, plating wear or interior marks that a person will notice. Everything functions, and every mark is in the slider rather than described around.
B
Well used
Significant wear, possibly a professional repair, always disclosed with what was done and by whom.
NO GRADE
Declined
Structural damage, an unrecorded repair, or anything that fails a check. Not graded, not sold. Returned to the owner with the reason.
THE SCALE
HOW WE GRADE,
AND WHY IT IS HARSH
Most resale grading is generous, because a generous grade sells faster. Ours runs one step below the market norm on purpose. A customer who opens the box and finds it better than described comes back.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
THE AWKWARD
QUESTIONS
DO YOU ISSUE A CERTIFICATE?
Not one written by us, and be careful of anyone who does. A certificate issued by the shop selling you the bag is worth exactly as much as that shop's word, which is what you were relying on anyway. What you get instead is the Entrupy result, issued by a third party with no stake in the sale, on every piece. Where a piece came with its original receipt, that goes with it too.
WHERE DO THE BAGS COME FROM?
Two routes. Pre-loved pieces are bought from, or consigned by, people here in Singapore, one at a time. Brand-new pieces are bought in the US. Either way, every piece is scanned on Entrupy and goes through the five checks before it is listed.
CAN I SEE THE PIECE BEFORE I COMMIT TO ANYTHING?
That is the only way this works. Nothing is sold through this website. You message about a piece, we put it aside, and you look at it in the shop with the checks explained in front of you before any money changes hands.
YOU ARE NOT AN AUTHORISED DEALER. IS THIS LEGAL?
Yes. Reselling a genuine item you own is lawful, and naming the house that made it is permitted so long as nobody is led to think we are connected to them. We are an independent reseller, we say so on every page, and we have no affiliation with any of the houses whose pieces we carry.
